Thankful for: Christmas Music!

Today, I’d like to thank the world for creating Christmas music. I know it’s too early to be listening to it, but A) I don’t care and B) I listen to it year-round. Christmas music is one of my no-fail happy places.

And I’m extra thankful that, at this time of year, it’s almost socially acceptable for me to sing the songs in public!

Buddy the Elf is my second choice for a husband after my actual husband. If my husband wasn’t bothered by my desire to listen to Christmas music year round, I probably wouldn’t have Buddy the Elf (or anyone else for that matter) at number two.

And just for the record I’m not really attracted to Will Ferrell. I just love Christmas music and want someone to share the love of Christmas music with me.

Or maybe I just need to start programming my kids to sing Christmas songs year round. And to ask for decorations to go up on November 1st. 😀

Oh, man, I love Buddy the Elf! The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear! 😉 When we went to Germany for the Christmas markets, I was in heaven. I really want to go again when Jack is older so he can marvel at it all. I wish there were amazing outdoor markets like that around where we live.

As far as the music, I am lucky. My husband just sort of shakes his head and indulges me anyway, lol. But I really think programming your children is the key. Dads can’t say no to Christmas when their babies are in on it. I’ve started young with Jack. From birth, since he was born in November, he has been hearing all sorts of Christmas jams. I look forward to fully indoctrinating him once he can actually sing!
