This week I got down 5,544 words, for a total of 41,625–surplus of 79 words, haha… better than missing the goal like I did last week!
2. My goal(s) for this week.
4,680 words for a WIP total of 46,305–inching ever closer to my goal of finishing the draft by the week of July 28th!
3. A favorite line from my story OR one word/phrase that sums up what I wrote/revised.
“Path of least resistance. Let your life be what it wants to be.”
I snort. “Alright, Buddha.”
He’s not laughing. “It’s the only way through that doesn’t hurt like crazy.”
4. The biggest challenge I faced this week (ex. finding time to write).
My husband, son and I have all been coming down with some kind of virus. It comes and goes and comes back again. Very frustrating, and it means Jack keeps coughing and waking himself up. All. Night. Long. Then he doesn’t want to stay in his crib, because it’s tons more snuggly to be held. And he doesn’t want to be held in any way that is comfy for me, because… I don’t know, because he’s a baby. It’s actually the first time he’s ever been sick so it’s awful all around… 🙁
5. Something I love about my WiP.
The connection between my MC Emma and her sister Anne: love/hate/envy/support.
So, how did YOU do this week, writing or otherwise?
