This week I got down 3,895 words, for a total of 36,081. Short by 785 words. Drats!
2. My goal(s) for this week.
I’ll tack my shortfall from last week onto this week, so 5,465 words, for a total WIP word count of 41,546. I know, my numbers are so specific and I could probably round up or down, but I kind of like doing the weird math involved.
3. A favorite line from my story OR one word/phrase that sums up what I wrote/revised.
“You could quit. Try out for other roles. Expand your portfolio.”
He scoffs. “I’ve been playing Pierce for ten years now. I am Pierce Stratford. I spend more of my life being him than being myself.”
4. The biggest challenge I faced this week (ex. finding time to write).
This week was so busy for me. I visited with a friend from out of town and went to another friend’s housewarming party, Jack decided he hates to sleep at night, and I realized how little time I have been spending one-on-one with my husband since we’ve both been working on our own projects in the evenings. So, I let myself have a less than stellar writing week because I wanted fun and husband snuggles. Realistically, this less than stellar week is far better than the weeks I’ve been having before RSW, anyway!
5. Something I love about my WiP.
Positive behavior reinforcement via Skittles.
So, how did YOU do this week, writing or otherwise?
