Update: Ten Before Thirty

So, my ten before thirty list is underway!

I’ve made progress on a some and I even finished one already. I love having a to-do list. It’s so fun to check things off.

1. Learn to quilt. I have purchased some fantastic fabric (here is a sample of one of the fabrics I chose!), along with some supplies, and it is all on its way to me right now. I’ve got some quilting tutorials saved and have done a lot of reading about it. I am so excited for this one!

4. Read my most embarrassing gap books. I have started reading Jane Eyre during nap times. Simultaneously, my son decided he hates naps. So I haven’t gotten as far as I’d like.

7. Write letters to five people that I appreciate. DONE! I was nervous about how these letters (read: emails) would be received, but everyone loved them and I was happy I spent the time to let them know what they mean/meant to me. It’s something I wish I did more often. There is never a bad time to tell someone how grateful you are for them.

I’ll try to keep posting updates until my list is complete. I’m feeling good about my progress so far!

Yep! I figure, if it looks terrible then at least it will be functional and it never has to leave our house, haha… and if it looks great it’ll make a good keepsake for him 🙂
